What Boomerang from cartoon Network needs to improve
Boomerang airs many older cartoons ranging from the 1930’s to 2000’s, but the channel seems to have lost touch with that trend for the past 5 years. Retro content is what makes the channel great. Boomerang now airs ongoing series that are already on Cartoon Network, including original series of their own, when there should be a revived Kids WB block on the C.W. that would air that type of content. The original series that the channel has aren’t getting good ratings. It would be better if all of the original ongoing series that aren’t from the 1990’s or the 2000’s were moved to Cartoon Network, like what Disney XD did with their original animated series by moving them to Disney Channel. Eventually, you would all get to see the channel’s original series more often and the shows could get better ratings. It would give the channel more scheduling to air classic Hanna Barbera cartoons and older Cartoon Network series throughout the day. It can’t just be Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, Wacky Races (2017), Bunnicula, and the movies related to Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry. There’s gotta be more variety than those cartoons. The more different programming that it airs, the better the scheduling can be.
One other thing I wanted to talk about are the logo, graphics, and bumpers. The bumpers are very bland without a classic feel. The new look closely resembles the current era of Cartoon Network while the older look featured toys and clips from many classic cartoons. The new logo looks nothing like a Boomerang, but instead is shown as a B in a box which is not a good representation of the channel. The theme music of the older era was better and fun to listen to because all of the jingles which sound like they’re part of a vintage toy commercial. One other thing different from the 2015 rebrand, other than the mobile app advertising, are the end credit bumpers. The end credit bumpers aren’t necessary in any way since the older look didn’t have that, because the channel actually lets you all listen to the ending song while allowing you to watch the credits without any interruption from promos and advertisements of the channel.
I hope that someday the channel will revert back to the older rebrand or something similar to that, get rid of the end credit bumpers and ongoing series, advertise more of the older content, and get a better announcer.

If they could air the Toonami version of Dragon Ball Z, the original Yugioh, One piece, and Loonatics Unleashed on Boomerang it would be great.
